Failure is a gift.

It’s not always clear at first, you just need to unwrap it.

The more you embrace the gift of failure, the more you open to the reality of success.

We worship success in our culture.

The achievement of a goal or dream.

Making a million dollars.

Being a best selling author.

Winning the gold medal.

Everyone who has achieved success on any level has failed greatly. In order to succeed you must make friends with failure.

Rather then avoid failure, embrace it.

Rather than condemn yourself when things don’t work out, get curious.

J.K. Rowling: Rowling may be rolling in a lot of Harry Potter success today, but before she published her books she was nearly penniless, severely depressed, divorced, trying to raise a child on her own while attending school and writing a novel. Rowling went from depending on welfare to being one of the richest women in the world. She was rejected several times by publishers.

Walt Disney: He was fired by a newspaper editor because, “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.”.  After that, Disney started a number of businesses that didn’t last too long and ended with bankruptcy and failure. He never gave up and the rest is history.

Michael Jordan: The best basketball player of all time was actually cut from his high school basketball team. He didn’t let that stop him. He said, “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”.

If you never fail chances are you are playing it safe. And playing it safe is to be dead whilst living.

If you fail chances are you are taking risks and going for it. You only fail when you don’t take the chance. You only fail when you don’t learn the lessons that the experience gave you. And all lessons are repeated until learned. As you learn you become the person ready to fulfill the vision you have been given.

If you have a goal or a dream, it has been given to YOU for a reason. You are the one uniquely suited to bring it to the world. Every single experience of your life qualifies you for your dream, especially your failures. Once you fail you know what NOT to do. And you can guide others as well as yourself.

Success and failure aren’t separate things, they are two sides of the same coin. As you understand this then there’s no failure just opportunities to grow. Each failure becomes a stepping stone to your success.

Your goals are a catalyst for your growth. Each of your goals takes you on a journey. Sometimes when you set a goal you might think you have an idea of what will happen. Most likely your goal has an energy of it’s own and it will take you to the places that cause you to grow in the ways you most need.

We often think that it’s the attainment of the goal that determines success. But it’s really about the journey the goal takes you on, the growth you experience and the person you become in the process itself.

What is the point of attaining your goal if in the process you lose your health, forget yourself, disconnect from the joy of being alive, or compromise your integrity?

The real question is, “Are you growing and becoming more of who you really are?”.

Every failure gets you a step closer to success. Every failure shows you what NOT to do. Every failure gives you a gift, if you are open.

Failure humbles you, reminding you that you aren’t invincible, perfect or in control of life.

Failure is medicine for the success hungry ego. And often those that have never tasted failure lack humility in times of success.

When you have failed enough, you end up appreciating the sweetness of success even more.

When you have failed enough, you learn to not take your success or what people think of you too seriously.

When you have failed enough, you know not to define yourself by external things, since they just come and go.

After a few failures most people give up. That point of giving up is often right before the door opens. Perhaps you have failed and doors closed 8 times, but it may be that 9th door that opens to your success.

Whether you achieve massive success or fail miserably the end result is the same, we all die.

So how do you want to live each moment of your life?

Those things you might label as failures today will often be those things that you will look back upon in your life as blessings. Things not going the way you want, or working out how you thought, can be amazing catalysts that cause you to reevaluate your life, get real about what’s meaningful and align your priorities with your heart’s truth.

Sometimes NOT getting what you want is the grace of the compassionate Universe at work in your life.

Often before something is accepted it goes through 3 stages:

First, it is ridiculed.

Second, it is violently opposed.

Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Remember, that regardless of how your life turns out, real success is not simply what you attained but who you become. Real success is not just in the end achievement of your goal but the moment to moment journey of who you are being whilst living each step of the way.

Embrace the gifts of failure and let it bless you.

Your failures are simply the stepping stones to your success.

To me, there is no such thing as ‘failure’. It is and it is not…different sides of the same coin, as you say…in a primitive outdated ancient history duality world and way of thinking. If there was no coin and no sides…and, only one side, then, there would simply be 3 parts (sides) on the SAME ‘side’….called ‘none, some and all. No success, Some success and Total or All success. If I did not write a book, then, I experience no success. If I write some of it or all of it and never get it published, then, I’m somewhat successful, and, if I write it and get it published, i’m totally successful. So, where is there ‘failure’? Failure is an extreme ‘lack of success.’ Failure is really being totally un-successful. Chicken Soup Jck Canfield ‘thinks’ he ‘failed’ 140+ times finding a publisher. Not to me. He did not succeed 140+ times and ten, he succeeded. So, he never failed. The ‘F’ word can be taken out of the dictionary in a Oneness World, as it is now. I’ve declared it so and so it is.
Here’s the 100% guideline for thinking, speaking and acting in a Oneness World, Think of ANY opposite words. All antonyms. Happy-Sad. Rich-Poor. Joyful-Sorrow. Victor-Victim. Safe/Awe-Fear. Anger-Calm. Healthy-Sick. Now, simply ADD a ‘prefix’ before the ‘positive, more desirable’ word of the two. The one you want MORE of and place a truthful prefix of ‘a-, un-, non-, lack of, little, some, lots, less, more, much, many, etc, to create THE TRUTH for YOU. Ex: ALL People in hospitals are in some degree of health. They are all un-healthy or they would be home. So, NO ONE is ‘sick’ in a hospital. Everyone is un-healthy and ‘lacks their health’ and when they are healthy again, they go home, When they are totally un-healthy, they die. Right? Measles? Cramps? Cold? A little unhealthy. Broken bone? Pretty unhealthy. Cancer? Very unhealthy. Coma? Extremely unhealthy. See? So, drop, I repeat, DROP, all of the ‘negative pairs of opposite-antonyms’ and ‘add a prefix or suffix to the beginning or end of the ‘positive’ word and, you are now ‘speaking the language of Oneness’! Anger is being extremely un-calm. Sorrow is being un-joyful. Hatred is being excruciatingly un-loving or loving-less. Make up words! Fear is a total lack of safety. A gun in your face is being extremely un-dsafe and you have to say or do whatever it takes to be safe again. The world is in a State of Safety or not. The world is in a State of Health or not. The world is in a State of Calmness or not. so, Be calm. Be healthy. Be safe. Be MORE calm, MORE safe, MORE healthy, MORE in love, MORE, MORE, MORE!!! Nancy out here. Luv Ya!
