Never give up…

But… Sometimes no matter how hard you try, things don’t work out the way you want. And sometimes even if they do work, the price you paid is too high.

So how do you know when it’s time to quit something or to keep on persevering? Whether it’s a romantic relationship, a job, a project, a friendship?

In our culture we are taught to NEVER quit. That quitting is wrong. You hear phrases like “Quitters never win and winners never quit.” This works well at times but can also be detrimental. Persevering at all costs can mean you end up staying in situations that aren’t right for you much longer than you should.

So the downside to persevering is if what you are persisting in isn’t aligned with your soul, and then it can get in the way of your highest good. When you get so attached to the outcome to the point that you aren’t open to a higher good, you block the flow of the universe.

Don’t let stubbornness get in the way of the next level of your life.

Here are a few simple ways to tell when it’s time to “quit”.

1- Life is about growth. So if you are no longer growing in a situation or relationship, that may be a sign that it’s time to reevaluate and move on. Or you are in a relationship and both growing in completely different directions, with different needs.

2- If you have done absolutely everything you can do and still nothing seems to be working, it may be a sign that what you are doing isn’t what you are meant to be doing. Listen to the clues of the universe.

3- If you no longer have a passion for what you are doing and find yourself feeling that you would rather be doing something else, then it’s time to move on. Dissatisfaction is a sign that you have outgrown your current reality.

Success in any area of life isn’t a straight line. Just because life doesn’t go according to your plan doesn’t mean things aren’t working out for your highest good or even better.

And when things don’t work out, it’s often a sign of grace. Trust the Divine timing of the Universe.

Rather than forcing life to be the way you think it should have been, surrender to what IS, make peace, and let go. This frees you up to be open and receptive to life.

Then the question you ask shifts from “What do I want?” to “What is Life seeking to manifest or happen through me?”

There comes a point when the life you are living is too small for who you are seeking to become.

Then it’s time to quit playing small, quit excuses, quit settling, and open to playing a bigger game in life.

So what do you need to quit today?

Thank You Kute! Thank you for all the inspirational work you’ve been doing!

I have been following you for years now, and I enjoyed almost every piece of your art, but in this video you touched me deeply 🙂 Seriously! I played with the thought that giving up is a failure, but now I understand, it is an opportunity – an opportunity to grow further. Of course I knew it all along, but I needed to hear it from someone else…and that would be you!

    Admiring and thanking you
