Time!

As human beings, we all have one thing in common.

Time.

We are all born, and we will all die.

Yet when it happens, we seem surprised and ask WHY?

From the moment the universe exploded into existence as a cosmic fireball 13.4 billions of years ago….

Time stops for no one.

Time doesn’t care if you are:

Black.

White.

Rich.

Poor.

Muhammad Ali.

David Bowie.

Bob Marley.

Time keeps moving like a river.

In 1 minute you have 60 seconds.

In 1 hour – 3600 seconds.

In 1 day we have 86,400 seconds.

In 1 week 604,800 seconds.

In 1 month 2,419,200 seconds.

In 1 year 31,536,000 seconds.

What are you doing with the time that you have been given?

It’s not how long you live but how you live that counts.

And living ain’t living if you are dying in each moment.

Time………

Do you remember when you were a child and couldn’t wait to grow up and go to high school?

Then when you were in high school, you couldn’t wait to go to college.

Then in college, you couldn’t wait to be an adult and live in the real world.

When in the real world, you couldn’t wait to get older and reach the top of the mountain of success.

Then when you arrived at the top, you wished you were a kid again free of all the stress and responsibilities…

AAAh…. To be child again.

When we are young, we live like we have forever and time seems to stand still and go so slow.

But when we get older it feels like time goes by so fast in the blink of an eye.

One moment you were 10, and the next moment you are 50.

Where did the time go?

You can’t turn time back.

You can only live this moment.

And if you try to turn time forward, you only miss this moment.

Let time be your teacher.

Let death make you live life.

Fully.

Every second is a gift.

Every moment a privilege.

Every day a new opportunity.

So, if you knew the exact date and time of your death, how would that change the way that you live?

There are no refunds in this thing called life.

We work longer hours but does that equal more happiness?

None of us know when our time is up.

We trade time for money.

Work at jobs we hate to pay bills for things we don’t really need.

Wasting so much time.

We stay in relationships that we know aren’t quite right out of fear.

Is it worth it?

Why do we wait for some special date?

Postponing our lives, when the only thing that is guaranteed is now.

Every moment waited is a moment wasted.

Your life is no dress rehearsal. It’s the real thing.

The saddest thing is to live in a cemetery of unfulfilled dreams and regret.

Surrounded by friends called:

I wish I had.

I could have been.

I should have done.

So instead:

Be a devotee of wonder, awe and curiosity.

Celebrate for no reason. Just being alive is enough.

Love fully, risk it all. When you love, you win no matter what.

There is nowhere to get to.

The journey is the reward.

Savor each moment like it’s your last.

It may very well be.

Ravish life.

Make love to each moment.

You are at the greatest party ever!!

FANTASTIC! Thanks, Kute! I love this video!
Time waits for no one. Live to the fullest, even if it’s “just” cuddling
your kitty cat or puppy dog. They love you unconditionally, LOVE THEM BACK!

I recently lost my close friend to suicide (age 44, gun shot through the heart,)
my beloved Mom (almost age 100,) 4 of my kitties (2 through stupid ER room
accidents!) and other girlfriends in their 50’s — died way too young!

Now, I am all alone. Bereft. Sad. How shall I live my life from now on?
I want to feel loved. I want to love. Feel purpose, meaning and affection
each and every day? What is (my) WAY?
