You are worthy.

Not because you are rich.

A millionaire.

Drive a nice car.

Wear expensive clothes.

Live in a big house.

You are worthy just because you are.

There’s nothing you have to do. Say. Achieve. Prove.

So often we are taught to base our sense of worth and value on external things. Mistakenly thinking that the more we have and attain, the more worthy that makes us. The truth is that nothing can make you less valuable.

You are a soul. And your soul is priceless and perfect. Your true essence is beyond form, name or possessions.

As children, we are conditioned by the media with the constant message that, “Who you are isn’t enough!”  This gets repeated and reinforced in so many different ways. Some subtle and some not so subtle.

The television, magazines and advertising sell us images of what it means to be successful and beautiful which we desperately try and fit ourselves into.

We are bombarded with so many distractions that lead us to feel disconnected from our true sense of self and worthiness.

Then we are sold products that supposedly will make us OK. We are told “Just wear these shoes. Or drink this beer. Or drive this car. And you will be OK.”

When your sense of worth is based on things outside, you will feel weaker inside.

Real power is to be connected with who you really are. And who you are is an Infinite being expressing through a body in this life. Knowing who you are is freedom. Then you are able to unplug from being at the mercy of the validation of the external world.

When you are stuck in a pattern of unworthiness, then you tend to look outside to try and fulfill what you think is missing inside.

Looking outside for what is ultimately inside you already, won’t fulfill what you are really seeking.

So what are you REALLY seeking?

More money won’t make you feel truly worthy if you don’t feel your true value within yourself. It might mask your sense of unworthiness for a moment with a superficial band aid. But there will always be a sense of dissatisfaction.

Since outer experience is a reflection of inner reality, I believe that the more you connect to your inherent self-worth, you will feel more self-confident and free. Then as a result, you will likely end up making more money as well.

The ego is conditioned to believe in it’s identity that is filled with past stories, childhood programming and conditioning. The ego seeking a sense of self-worth is a never-ending cycle. Do not seek for a sense of worth via your ego. But seek it in your real SELF.

You are a spark of the Infinite. So rather than chasing outside. Stop. Breathe. And go within. When you connect to the source inside, you will see the true riches that dwell within you already and have been there all along.

It’s easy to love those parts of ourselves that we like, that we find nice and pretty. But real self-worth deepens as you accept all that you are, including the beautiful parts and the seemingly ugly parts!

Healing happens when you bring love to those parts of you that are hurting. Rather than judge yourself for feeling unworthy, simply acknowledge it and bring love, compassion and tenderness to that part of you.

So as you learn to love all those parts of yourself that might have seemed unlovable before, healing happens. When you shine light into those places within yourself that seemed dark, you reconnect with your wholeness.

The more you fill yourself up with love, the less you seek it from outside. And the less you need it from the outside, the more peaceful you feel.

You are worthy of love.

Attention…. And more.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of life, you might sometimes forget for a moment, but that still won’t take away the fact that …

You are worthy.

Because you are.

    Dearest Kute,
I can not put into words how much I appreciate this video post! To say it came at the perfect time, would be an understatement. This is exactly what I needed to hear, at this moment in time. I have struggled with low self-worth, low self-esteem, and confidence issues my entire life. I am now 33 and recently I have found myself struggling even more. Being in a relationship seems to bring out these thoughts and feelings of not being good enough, even more so, as you’ve stated it will do. The parts of me most needing love will come to fruition when being in a relationship. You are a blessing and I am truly grateful for the work you do. You are a true inspiration and a beautiful soul. Keep doing what you are doing. You are making a difference in at least one person’s life!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    In loving kindness,
