FOMO!

We have all experienced some level of it.

The “fear of missing out” refers to the feeling of “anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere”.

The notion that someone else is having a better life, better sex, better career, better vacation, better food, and that you are somehow missing out.

At times we all tend to want what we think we don’t have. We all have had moments where we want to be like someone else that we think has it more together. We all tend to think that the grass is greener over there.

But is it really?

It’s an illusion of the mind. It’s the nature of the mind to play tricks on you and project false realities. The sneaky mind often creates “insane” thoughts telling you that “Where you are isn’t where you should be.” That you should be somewhere else.

With the accelerated pace of technology and social media, we have so many more options available to us than before. It can be dizzying, distracting and make it difficult to be fully present where you are and decide what you want.

With all the options you might have, it can sometimes make it difficult to simply commit to taking action, a relationship, or your job.

What if something or someone better shows up?

There are never any guarantees in life, but you can be sure that NOT committing will leave you nowhere. When you commit to following your most authentic choice in that moment and giving 100% to who and what is in front of you, it’s then that life opens up. That’s when progress happens, and as you take action life gives you feedback, and the feedback helps you get clarity.

Just because you commit to one option doesn’t mean you are stuck in that option forever. At any moment you can make a new choice.

Trust that exactly where you are is exactly where you are meant to be to learn the necessary lessons that your soul is seeking for.

You cannot be in the “wrong” place. Just make sure you learn what you need to learn. So that if you don’t like where you are, you can choose a different experience.

Ultimately, know that you can never truly miss out on what is really yours. What belongs to you belongs to YOU, and your part is to show up fully and give your all. The only way to miss is to not give 100% to each relationship and situation that you are in.

For instance if you are in a relationship, you can hold back keeping one foot in and one foot out. Or you can give your all. It’s by giving your all that you learn and grow into the person you were meant to be. Then regardless of the outcome, you become the person that you needed to be in order to be in the relationship you dream of.

Learn the lessons in each and every situation today so that you can be fully ready for the life you want tomorrow when it shows up.

When you try and force things to be a certain way, it’s then that you step out of sync with the flow of life.

Trust the timing of the Universe.

Your job isn’t to make something happen but to become the person who is ready.

Stop looking at the life that everyone else is living and start loving every part of the life that you have. While you are busy looking at everyone else’s life, everyone else is likely looking at yours.

You have had the perfect life necessary to fulfill what you are here to do on this planet.

So:

Show up.

Play full out.

Give gratitude.

And watch the universe blow your mind with blessings beyond what you can imagine for yourself. The universe’s vision for you is bigger than what you might ever imagine.

You cannot miss out on your blessings.

YOU are the blessing.

    So awesome video ! Truly a bomb of video. I trust I was guided to watch it. My situation is that I am not fully committing to my purpose in life, also probably part of it is my experience of “the helplessness in and over an illness and medical non-care”. I will try to apply what you suggest in the video and relax and enjoy the moment as much as possible – I cannot miss out my purpose, I cannot miss out my life. Thank you, love.

    Also, I had the experience in a romatic relationship with the guy who was not committing, and pretending, investing a lot into the surface vision of “he was committed”. I still spend time figuring out what was the lesson he came into my life to fool me, but I can relate -it felt totaly unsafe. So much unsafe that I started to believe he was a sociopath or someone like this. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn´t. I get a better perspective from this video on how it probably felt to him being in relationship when one is not fully present in love (to me, it feels similar with my life purpose, career path -only my approach is the “too much insecurity in my true power and self-non trust that I can make it).
