Just because you aren’t where you think you should be in your life doesn’t mean you’re not exactly where you are meant to be.

Sometimes we get caught up in the idea that we need to achieve certain things by a certain time of our lives. When we don’t it’s easy to feel like a failure or beat yourself up for not being where you expected.

Perhaps you wanted to:

– Be a millionaire by 35.

– Be a New York Times Bestselling author, selling millions of books.

– Win an Oscar.

– Marry your soulmate and have 2 kids by 40.

– Own your dream house.

We all have our own ideas and expectations.

Life isn’t always a straight line and often doesn’t end up exactly how you plan it to. Just because you aren’t at that “place” you thought you should be doesn’t mean you aren’t on track. Just because you didn’t attain the goal you envisioned doesn’t mean you are a failure.

Sometimes it’s the detours that teach you the most and offer you your biggest growth.

You are exactly where you are meant to be, to learn what you need to learn. Once you do so you graduate your current situation and experience onto something new.

You never fail unless you don’t even try. It’s not just about attaining the goal but who you became in the process of the pursuit of the goal itself.

Real success is not what you attain on the outside but who you become on the inside.

So who are you becoming?

You may find as you become more of your authentic self that life unfolds and the world begins to open up to you in ways you could never have imagined.

The real measure of success is more about the degree that you live your life with integrity. Are you becoming who you were really meant to be?

If you attain everything in the world but lose your authentic self in the process what’s the real gain?

At the end of your life you take nothing with you. The only “thing” you take is the evolution of your soul and who you became in the process of this amazing adventure called “Life”.

So if you aren’t where you thought you would or should be by this time in your life, I invite you to celebrate where you are now and the journey you have been on this far. Everything you have been through up until now has been preparing you to fully live your life’s purpose.

Stop beating yourself up for not being further along. Judging yourself for not being where you think you should be won’t get you where you want to go. Judging yourself just keeps you stuck further where you are now.

If you don’t like where you are now you have the power to change it! Just because you made your bed doesn’t mean you have to lie in it. You can remake your life at any moment, if you choose.

It can be easy sometimes to look at others you think are further along the path than you and judge yourself, or feel resentful, even jealous. But consider this: The Universe is abundant and it is showing you the possibility that what you want can be achieved.

So when you see others where you want to be and think you should be, rather than contract, simply breathe and bless them instead. Then the space will now open for you to live into that reality. Let those that are living what you aspire to inspire your heart. As you bless them you simply open yourself to be available to that level of goodness manifesting in your life.

When you let go of where you think you should be, you allow yourself to be where you are. When you allow yourself to simply be, each moment reveals it’s immense beauty and magic to you, beyond what you could have imagined. You experience the gift of the moment more fully!

You then bring yourself into the flow of life. And you will find yourself to be the right person, in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right people!

When you don’t get what you thought you wanted, see it as the grace of God at work in your life. And that something better is seeking to happen than you can see right now.

Everything has it’s right time and right season. When the mango is ripe it will fall from the tree. You don’t need to force something to be.

Trust Divine timing. Just because something hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.

Trust life…It’s been around a lot longer than you.

Thank you, just got a rejection e-mail from a job opening I had applied for. I am evolving but I have a lot further to go in allowing and letting go of what I have learned. Feels like another set back but trying to see it as a gift that that wasn’t the job for me.

I am not sure ‘if or what’ I want in life anymore. So many courses and so much internal change and I’m sadly wondering if I’ve changed at all. My inner and outer worlds sure are not in ‘order, clarity and alignment’ and, wow, I’m open to it. My heart feels ‘feelingless’ and I am open to being more ‘feelingfull’ and heartful. Amen.
